Palmer's Classic Arcade Game Competition 2010

You are invited to compete for prizes in the annual Classic arcade game competition, these games are played using the arcade emulator. You may only play games during workshop Do not attempt to play games during your lessons. For details of how to play in the competition please speak to me in Workshop on Monday or Thursday dinner time in E19.

In order to be eligible for the competition you need to be either a Single/Double ICT or Computing Student. Scores will be submitted by some of the leaving second year students (as a form of friendly rivalry), but they will not be able to win any prizes.

Entries are accepted from Monday, 21st June 2010
Screenshots can be submitted by e-mail to me (ebarwell@palmers.ac.uk) up to 23:59 Sunday 11th July 2010.

  • Space Invaders part II
  • Wonderboy
  • Donkey Kong
  • Donkey Kong Jr
  • Tron (use mouse for aim and fire - cursors to move)
  • Bomb Jack
  • Ghosts 'n' Goblins
  • Scramble
  • Crystal castles (mouse controls Bently - can jump)
  • Pheonix
  • Tempest (use mouse for accuracy and control)
  • Frogger (newly added)
  • Galaga (newly added)
  • Zoo Keeper (newly added)

General rules are no cheating, no continues, no setting difficulty to stupid easy

A new blog entry will be created with a list of all the games and current score submissions.
